We all know that in today's NFL it is all about having a franchise quarterback. The teams that win year in and year out all have a franchise quarterback at the helm. That is part of the reason you saw Bud Adams make his front office put everything on hold to go after Peyton Manning. It was a bad move in hindsight because Peyton didn't sign here, but it wasn't the dumbest thing Bud has ever done.
So that begs the question, how many wins would Peyton Manning be worth to this team? Let's assume that the rest of the season plays out the same, where would this team currently be?
I don't have any trouble saying the Titans would have beaten the Colts and Jaguars with Manning. There is no way he is losing to his old team, and the offense would have been able to move against the Jags. That would make the record 6-6 with the Titans right in the thick of the wild card race.
I now throw it to you- would they have won any of the other games they lost? Take it away....
