Hey, if you can't change the identity of the coach who isn't getting it done, maybe changing his location will help. Given that we've already nearly eclipsed our total of points given up from all 16 games last year, it probably couldn't make the situation any worse.

It was somewhat sad to hear that the Titans cut Pannel Egboh, who'd already endured such pain once this season, but it certainly sounds like Jarius Wynn is a talented guy who may be a better fit along this defensive line. Wynn was a disruptive player in his days at Gerogia, and his experience in the 3-4 of Green Bay might be attractive to Gray as well.

Colin McCarthy practiced on a slightly different, and lighter, schedule this week as the Titans continue to find ways to keep him in the mix while getting him healthy.

Congrats to Zach Brown for his inaugural appearance on PFF's Secret Superstar list, largely thanks to his success in pass coverage and finally showing a consistent ability to get off of blocks and make solid tackles. The coaching staff has switched up the way they're using Ayers and Brown, and so far the results are encouraging for both.

Just about everyone believed Bill Parcells massively overpaid when he sniped Randy Starks early in the free agent market back in 2007, but Starks has actually sculpted a pretty solid career in South Beach, and this may be the year he finally breaksthrough and gets the Pro Bowl nod.

Paul Kuharsky has been sippin the MCM sauce lately: in this post he apes my proposition that Bud and Reinfeldt may keep Munchak if he's willing to fire both coordinators (especially Gray) and rebuild the staff on a level playing field this time. PK also drops an MCM favorite phrase:

So Leroy Harris finally rights the ship at RG, and just like that he's on the IR. Somehow that pretty much sums up the past 6 years of this franchise.
