Coty Sensabaugh has been promoted to the nickel corner. He played 27 snaps yesterday compared to just 19 for Ryan Mouton. This team has wanted Mouton to be good since they reached for him in the third round of the draft. It just hasn't happened. It is good to see Sensabaugh getting out there more.
The Titans have also officially made the switch to Zach Brown as an every down linebacker and Akeem Ayers in more of a specialized role. Brown played 51 snaps yesterday while Ayers played 23. This makes the pass defense so much better because Ayers can get after the passer and Brown is much better in coverage than Ayers.
The only interesting offensive number from the snap report is that Jared Cook was in on just 23 of the 61 offensive snaps yesterday. Some of that has to do with the game getting out of hand early, but this game from Cook was a microcosm of his entire career here. He made a great catch on a ball where he ran past a defender, but he also had a pass hit him right in the hands that he could not catch.
