Chris Johnson Says Someone Needs to Provide a Spark

So all over Twitter today I am seeing the quote from Chris Johnson that the Titans are not a good football team. My response to that is that water is wet and the sun will set in the west this afternoon. The thing that makes me mad about that article is this:

"We need somebody in this locker room to make plays and give us a spark," Johnson said. "I feel like I've made some plays, but the situation of a spark has got to come from somewhere and getting a spark that can be big for this team."

I wish someone would have followed up with, "Chris, when was the last time you made a play?" CJ is the highest paid player on this team. He should be pointing the finger only at himself, but see, that is not what he does. Sure, he gives his offensive line credit when they play well, but he is also the first to throw them under the bus when he doesn't.

Actually, I forgot. He did provide a spark in the game on Sunday. Unfortunately it was the Vikings that he provided it for when he coughed the ball up right after the Titans actually made a play on special teams.

And what was the quote we all saw when he was holding out for more money?..Oh yeah, that he isn't a running back. He is a playmaker.

Well you have to give him one thing, he sure pulled a fast one on the Titans' front office and the fans. I miss the days where he was fast on the football field.
