Titans vs. Vikings Final Thoughts

Today the Titans have the most winnable game of the season so far. Can they play well enough to get their second win of the season?

There is no such thing as a must win game in early October, but the Titans really need to win this game. They have already played the toughest part of their schedule. You know what they say, you have to make hay when the sun shines. Well the sun starts to come up on the Titans schedule this week.

Minnesota has a good offense, but it is not what you would call high powered. I really hope Jerry Gray puts eight or nine guys in the box and dare Christian Ponder to throw the ball down the field. It might get them burnt once or twice, but they are just going to get picked apart if they sit in that vanilla crap they have been running so far.

On offense, the Titans need to get Chris Johnson going early. Hopefully he can build off of last week's "breakout" performance. Matt Hasselbeck can make some throw, but they need to establish the run to open things up for him.

They also have to be especially disciplined on special teams because the Vikes have return men that can make plays.

This is a winnable game for the Titans, but they are going to have to play better than they did in September.

GO TITANS!!
