Matt Hasselbeck to Start at Quarterback for Tennessee Titans in Buffalo

We had hoped that Jake Locker's injured left shoulder would be well enough for him to play this week when the Titans travel to Buffalo to take on the Bills, but Mike Munchak said at his weekly Monday press conference that Locker will not be able to play Sunday. Matt Hasselbeck will get his third straight start. There is a chance Locker could be back for the game against the Colts the next week according to Munchak.

Obviously this is not the news we were hoping to here today, but at least Hasselbeck played better against the Steelers than he did against the Vikings. He also faces an easier test going up against Buffalo's defense than he did the Vikings or the Steelers.

Other notes:

Munchak also said that he expects Colin McCarthy to be able to practice on Wednesday, but he could be bothered by the ankle all year long.

Tommie Campbell will not be able to play this weekend because of the ankle injury he suffered against the Steelers.

Markelle Martin should be able to practice this week while on PUP. Help at the safety position?
