I meant to write this post before the season started and update it each week, but clearly that did not happen. What I will do each week is look at each of the upcoming opponents and give my take on how I am feeling about the game against said team. Got it? Good.
Week 7 @ Buffalo
This is a game the Titans really, really need to win. The Bills are about what I expected them to be when the season started although their defense has not been as good as I expected. I don't feel as good about this game as I did when the season started, but that is more a product of the Titans not being as good as I thought they would be.
Week 8 vs. Indianapolis
Last week they shocked the world and beat the Packers. This week they shocked the world and got hammered at home by the Jets. That is to be expected from a team with a rookie quarterback and a rookie head coach who has a life-threatening disease. I don't feel as good about this game as I did when the schedule came out, but I still think it is a win.
Week 9 vs. Chicago
Jay Cutler does what Jay Cutler does- know what I mean? This is going to be a tough game for the Titans.
Week 10 @ Miami
Ryan Tannehill is better than I expected him to be. I still feel good about the Titans in this game even though the Dolphins are 3-3. I would have expected them to be 1-5.
Week 11 Bye
Week 12 @Jacksonville
The Titans might have struggled early in the season, but they are better than the Jaguars. Get your brooms out.
Week 13 vs. Houston
The Texans got blown out last night, but they are still a much better team than the Titans. This game is at home, which is nice, but I still don't have a good feeling about it.
Week 14 @ Indianapolis
See above.
Week 15 vs. NY Jets MNF
I feel a lot better about this game than I did when the season started. The Jets are a mess, even though they did rally to beat the Colts this week. Put this one in the win column.
Week 16 vs. Green Bay
This will be a name your number game for the Packers.
Week 17 vs. Jacksonville
