Steelers vs. Titans Defensive Snap Report

Don McPeak-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

The best news from the defensive snap report is that Colin McCarthy was out there for all 64 of the Titans defensive snaps last night. That came off a short week where he did not practice. He should be 100% after the 10-day layoff.

Along with McCarthy, Jordan Babineaux, Michael Griffin and Jason McCourty also played all 64 defensive snaps. McCourty got torched early for the long Mike Wallace touchdown, but he was really solid after that.

Alterraun Verner played 61 snaps.

Kamerion Wimbley and Akeem Ayers both played 58 snaps. Wimbley got pretty good pressure last night but wasn't able to record a sack. Ayers did not have a very good game and needs to spend some time on tackling drills this week.

Mike Morgan led the defensive tackles in snaps played with 48. He was in there a lot because Jurrell Casey had a shoulder injury. Casey only played 13 snaps.
