Steelers vs. Titans Final Thoughts

There are going to be a lot of yellow dish rags being twirled around in the air at LP Field tonight. As I said on MCM Radio the other night, there were a lot of Steelers fans at the game in 2009 when the Titans were actually good. There might be 30,000 of them there tonight.

It will be interesting to see how the players react to that. It might piss them off that their house has been taken over by the opposing team, or they might lay down and sulk about it. This team has showed more sulk than fight, but maybe they will turn that around tonight.

This is another match-up that just doesn't bode well for the Titans. The Steelers secondary is not as good as it once was, but can Matt Hasselbeck take advantage of those match-ups? He sure didn't look like he could last week.

The defense is going to see a heavy dose of Rashard Mendenhall. He came back last week, and some are saying that he looked even better than he did before he tore his knee up. That is not good news, obviously.

They haven't been taking as many shots down the field, but I would take a lot if I were them. There is no way the Titans secondary can slow down Mike Wallace and Antonio Brown if Ben Roethlisberger has time, and you know he is going to have time.
