There is not a lot of good that came out of the Titans loss to the Texans, but the way that Chris Johnson ran the football was encouraging. He did end up piling up some stats in junk time, but he was very efficient before the game was out of hand. That was very surprising considering how bad he has been and how good the Texans defense has been.
That is nice, but we need to see him do it on a consistent basis. This is not the first time he has had a good game, but it is the first time that he has had a good game against a good defense in a very long time. If the Titans are going to make anything out of this season, they need to have something that resembles a running game. That is going to be especially important if Jake Locker is going to miss an extended period of time.
That running game is going to have to come from CJ. They just don't have another back on the roster that can be a dynamic player.
