2012 Senior Bowl Open Thread

New, comments

The Senior Bowl has to be the only sporting event in the world where people pay more attention to the practice sessions leading up to the game than the game itself. I would be really interested to know how many media people are at the game compared to at the practices during the week. I bet it is less than half. Along those same lines, a player's performance in the game cannot move him up a draft board as much as a good week of practice can.

The game kicks off a 3 PM central and can be seen on the NFL Network. I already had a post this morning on the players to watch in the game, so I won't rehash that here.

Use this thread to discuss the game or anything else that is on your mind on this Saturday afternoon in January. The week between the championship games and the Super Bowl is always depressing because it gives us a glimpse of what life is like once football season is over.
