Today’s cuts, along with my thoughts, are below. The full list of cuts made over the past two days continues after the jump. Hopefully we'll here something definitive about the practice squad soon, and if the Titans make any additional changes as guys from other teams hit the streets we'll keep you up to date as best we can over the holiday weekend.
WR, Justin Gage: It’s about 2 years too late, but at least it happened.
CB, Frank Walker: I called it from the start that Walker was just a camp body, and that appears to be the case. Had Tommie Campbell not wowed everyone Walker might have had a shot.
S, Robert Johnson: Not shocking, but I thought maybe they’d give Johnson one more year to develop. Gray opted to go with the veteran Anthony Smith over any of the young safeties the old regime had kept around.
DE, Pannel Egboh: The young guy nearly snuck on to the roster thanks to injuries at the DE spot, but it wasn’t enough.
DE, Jacob Ford: Jerry Gray is real serious about this larger D-line philosophy. Look for Ford to get calls from the Lions or Eagles
S, Vincent Fuller: Fuller had been losing favor for two seasons now, and this can’t be called a shocker.
WR, Kevin Curtis: Breaking his hand on Thursday sealed the deal.
T, Adam Terry: (put on IR) Another camp body who added a veteran presence to the shortened session, but he apparently landed on the IR
CB, Ryan Mouton (put on IR): This has been the plan since Mouton went down. He won’t count against the roster now, but the Titans will have him for next year.
