Chris Johnson and Mike Munchak are still fielding question after question about the complete futility of our rushing attack. Jimmy and I discussed it last night on MCM Radio, but the really confusing part of the lack of success is that a bad Chris Johnson game will usually include at least one or two big pays. This year, however, those big plays have been completely gone. At this point, I'd be all for them giving Ringer more carries (if he can get consistent positive gains) until they can get CJ back on track.
Glennon says Donnie Avery, who is making his way back from an ACL injury, can be a source of support and guidance for Kenny Britt as he starts the recovery and rehab process.
Listen to last night's MCM Radio here, or you can get on iTunes.
With Britt down, Damian Williams has been given the golden ticket to establish his NFL career. Now we just have to hope he's got the ability to recognize the opportunity and cash in on it.
Chris Hope is expected to return to the starting line-up on Sunday, but I wouldn't be surprised if Babineaux gets more snaps than he did before Hope went out.
Jason Jones was fined $15K for his payback hit on Kyle Orton. Jones knew the fine was coming, but $15K is much more than he expected. Jones will appeal the fine, but if history is any indicator he'll probably end up paying the full amount.
PFF heaps on the praise for our O-line's pass blocking:
Tennessee Titans: After being one of the worst pass blocking teams last year, they have become one of the best in 2011 with just 13 total pressures allowed to date.
Even better news from PFF: 3 of their top 19 rookies so far this season are Titans defenders (Karl Klug, Jurrell Casey and Akeem Ayers).
Jesus, Jim Caldwell seems like the most beaten-down, passive guy I've ever seen coach in the NFL.
Former Titans CB Rod Hood signed with St. Louis.
