Tennessee Titans Roster Cuts Begin

The Tennessee Titans will begin the process today of trimming the roster down to 53 players. They will have to be at that number by tomorrow evening. I expect the roster cuts to trickle out slowly throughout the day. We will update this thread with the list of players who have been cut as they become available.

The other big thing that will happen today is Chris Johnson will sign his contract extension.  He is expected to practice with the team tomorrow as they begin preparation for the season opener at Jacksonville.  Mike Munchak and Chris Palmer are sure to be giddy.

I don't expect many surprises on this list.  The spots in question are linebacker, safety and receiver.  Are the Titans ready to give up on Rennie Curran and Robert Johnson?  I wouldn't be surprised if they both make the team or if they both got cut.
