Around the AFC South: Rusty's Nemesis Moves to Safety

Colts_medium 18to88 compares the first three years of Matt Ryan's career to the same period from Peyton Manning. I really hate Peyton, and a lot of it is because of this:

Again, the most interesting thing about Manning is his ability to be efficient while still producing massive volume numbers. He hit 4,000 yards in his second season, but coupled it with a solid passer rating and good completion percentage.

Look for Ryan to put up huge numbers this year with Roddy White and one side and rookie stud Julio Jones on the other.

Jags_medium It appears that every team has a receiver or two that fans fall in love with during training camp. This year the Jaguars have Cecil Shorts. Alfie says he has a good chance to start on opening day, and that in fact, he might be the team's best receiver. It is never a good sign if your team's best receiver is a rookie.

Texans_medium Glover Quin, the man that picked off Rusty Smith three times with one arm last season, has been moved from corner to safety. Quin started all 16 games at corner last year for a defense that gave up 4,280 yards passing on the season. I think I would do my best to find a different position for him as well.
