Mike Munchak said after Monday's training camp practice that Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt is scheduled to meet with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell tomorrow in New York. Britt and Munchak said they are both hoping for the best, but there is no doubt that talk of a suspension will come up. Really the only thing that is going to keep Britt from being suspended is that his transgressions took place during the lockout and it is still unclear if Goodell has the power to suspend guys for stuff that took place during the work stoppage.
With it looking more and more likely that Chris Johnson isn't going to be here anytime soon, it is more important than ever that Goodell not be able to sit Britt down.
The other problem we run into with Kenny is that he still can't get the hamstring right. After fully practicing for a day or two last week he was backed down with the excuse that he had just done a little too much. Well he sat out practice today, and we have to wonder if he will be ready to go when the season starts even if he is eligible to play.
