Adam Schefter is reporting that Randy Moss has decided to retire. It looks like the market for Moss was pretty much non-existent after the New York Jets signed Plaxico Burress. The Jets were pretty much the only team that had expressed any interest in Moss.  Moss's agent, Joel Segal (also CJ's agent), told Schefter, "After weighing his options and contemplating offers, he's decided to retire."

The good news here is that Randy Moss does retire as a Tennessee Titan.

In all seriousness, Moss was one of my favorite players when I was in high school and was one of the most exciting players to watch in this generation. I will never forget how mad I was when the then Tennessee Oilers passed on him in the draft and took a different receiver.

I will also never forget what ended up being the most fun week in MCM history. I was so pumped when the Titans were awarded Moss off waivers, and I watched the One Clap video, which is posted after the jump, at least 100 times before he every played a down for the Titans. My two year old ran around saying "straight cash homey" for a month.
