Wyatt: Tennessee Titans Interested in Derrick Mason

I've had a lot of questions about WR Derrick Mason. Yes, I think the #Titans are interested. And they should beless than a minute ago via TweetDeck Favorite Retweet Reply

The above tweet from Jim Wyatt states that the Tennessee Titans are interested in Derrick Mason who has been told he will be cut by the Baltimore Ravens. Mason is getting a little long in the tooth, but he can still play. Last season he had 61 catches for 802 yards and 7 touchdowns. The production is still there and injuries haven't slowed him down at all. He has played in all 16 games in each of his 6 years with the Ravens.

Paul Kuharsky has been vehemently against the Titans bringing in Mason because he says they don't need to get older and slower, and that they don't need to stunt the growth of Damian Williams.

I think bringing in Mason would be a great help for a guy like Williams, and he could even have a positive influence on Kenny Britt.

As always, the price would have t be right, but I think it would be a great move for the 2011 Titans.
