Perhaps the productivity of recent negotiations has picked-up because both sides are less distracted by those terrible hats DeMo used to wear all the time.

Tennessee_titans_30x21 While the often dubious NFL rumor mill continues to insist that the owners and players are on the precipice of an actual deal to end the lockout, there continue to be signs that this thing could be real. Case in point: the NFL is planning on debriefing team executives as early as Thursday regarding the new operating procedures laid-out in the new CBA. That's a great sign that at least the owners side of the table believes the final deal is pretty much done.

Tennessee_titans_30x21 Jeff Fisher was polite in discussing VY on NFL Total Access last night. In fact, the whole thing is so diplomatic I can just imagine Fish with his American flag pin on his lapel, waving to the camera and kissing a baby after he's done.

Tennessee_titans_30x21 Here's a quick primer on the college and (barely) professional career of new Titans WR coach Dave Ragone.
Tennessee_titans_30x21 The Titans are tied for second in the NFL for number of players arrested since 2000, but the Lions and Rams have had the least number arrested and they've been mostly horrible for the last half decade. I guess the goal should be to end up somewhere in the middle of that pack: just enough crazy to have an edge, but not crazy enough to fly off the tracks.

Tennessee_titans_30x21 John P. Lopez is speaking my language with this piece (ed. note: I crossed out the line I disagree with, btw):

Smart shopper: Depending on new collective bargaining agreement, Matt Leinart could be a free agent after the lockout. The Titans would be crazy not to give him a shot. If they can't re-sign Jason Babin, the Titans may be even better off if they go get Mathias Kiwanuka from the Giants. Also, rush end Antwan Barnes could be a steal. He made the most out of very few snaps in Baltimore.

Tennessee_titans_30x21 Pacman pled not guilty to charges related his arrest last week.

Tennessee_titans_30x21 Man, the lockout is still killing those of us who try to cover/follow/comment on the NFL.
