As August mentioned in the links this morning, Football Outsiders put together a round-up of different writers and their grades for the 2011 NFL Draft. The Titans had the 4th variation in draft grades. That isn't really surprising considering how all over the map people are on the Jake Locker pick. People like Rob Rang of CBS think it was a great move while people like Jason Cole of Yahoo! think it was terrible.
I really cannot wait until Locker gets his chance to prove all of these people wrong. Of course it is going to be a while before he gets a chance to do anything with the Titans because the lockout is on until the 8th circuit makes a decision after the June 3rd hearing or the two sides sit down and reach an agreement- whichever comes first.
It might be wishful thinking on my part, but I am buying the theory that Chris Palmer can work out the problems in Locker's delivery and turn him into an accurate passer. Who is with me?
