Over the next few weeks heading up to the draft we will be highlighting the biggest busts and greatest picks in the history of the Titans. I have decided to only look at the picks the franchise has made since the move to Tennessee instead of trying to look back at the entire history of the franchise.
Today the series continues with another guy that was supposed to catch passes for the Titans, Courtney Roby. He was drafted in the third round, 68th overall, in the 2005 NFL draft. Roby, like so many other Titans receivers, was good in the preseason but disappeared when the games counted. He was only with the Titans for 2 seasons and had 23 catches with 1 touchdown.
Unlike the previous guys on the list, Roby has managed to hang on in the league with other teams for a few years, and he actually won a Super Bowl ring with the New Orleans Saints in 2009.
Previous in the series:
#10 Shad Meier
#9 Tyrone Calico
#8 Ben Troupe
