Titans Draft Busts, No. 8: TE Ben Troupe

Over the next few weeks heading up to the draft we will be highlighting the biggest busts and greatest picks in the history of the Titans. I have decided to only look at the picks the franchise has made since the move to Tennessee instead of trying to look back at the entire history of the franchise.

Ah, Ben Troupe. I remember how excited I was when the Titans took him in the second round, 40th overall, in the 2004 NFL Draft. I had visions of Troupe hurdling over defenders in the NFL just as he did at Florida. Instead he was never able to learn the playbook or catch the football, finishing his career with 106 catches for 1,056 yards and 7 touchdowns in 4 seasons.
