Picks are still rolling in the SB Nation Bloggers Mock over at Mocking the Draft. Here is what happened Monday:
The Jacksonville Jaguars, represented by Alfie Crow of Big Cat Country, selected Christian Ponder, QB, FSU. This seems like a reach at 16, but it is a good pick if the Jags have identified Ponder as their guy. There is certainly no guarantee he will be there when they pick in the second round.
The New England Patriots, represented by Greg Knopping of Pats Pulpit, had the 17th pick and selected Gabe Carimi, OT, Wisconsin. I am sure he will turn out to be a Hall of Fame tackle because the Patriots drafted him.
The San Diego Chargers, represented by Wonko from Bolts from the Blue, had the 18th pick and selected Cameron Jordan, DE, California. I have been sitting here for about 5 minutes trying to come up with a reaction to this pick and have come up with nothing.
