Titans Draft Busts, No. 10: TE Shad Meier

Over the next few weeks heading up to the draft we will be highlighting the biggest busts and greatest picks in the history of the Titans.  I have decided to only look at the picks the franchise has made since the move to Tennessee instead of trying to look back at the entire history of the franchise.

With that being said, the busts countdown begins with Shad Meier.  Meier was a 3rd round pick (#90 overall) out of Kansas State in 2001.  You need to get more out of a 3rd round pick than 42 catches and three touchdowns in four seasons.

Aside: Craig Stevens looks like the second coming of Meier as he has been with the Titans for three seasons and has 12 catches with two touchdowns.  He would have to catch 30 passes in 2011 to equal Meier's production.  Anyone want to put any money on him doing that?
