Over the next few weeks heading up to the draft we will be highlighting the biggest busts and greatest picks in the history of the Titans. I have decided to only look at the picks the franchise has made since the move to Tennessee instead of trying to look back at the entire history of the franchise.
Ah, Pacman Jones. Gramsey and hal didn't think he should be this high on the list, but I don't understand how he wouldn't be. He was the #6 overall pick but never played like it on the field. He had some good games, but he ended his career with the Titans with just 4 interceptions in 2 years, and I don't have exact numbers here, but I guarantee that he had twice as many personal foul penalties as he did INTs. Not exactly a shutdown corner right there.
You also have to take into account that he embarrassed this franchise time and time again and is pretty much the reason that the NFL has the conduct policy it does today.
He did some good things on the field, but they were far outweighed by the controversy off the field, and even the contributions that he did make didn't come anywhere close to justifying him as the 6th pick.
Previous in the series:
#10 Shad Meier
#9 Tyrone Calico
#8 Ben Troupe
#7 Courtney Roby
#6 Paul Williams
#5 Kevin Dyson
#4 Chris Henry
#3 Andre Woolfolk
