The National Football Post is reporting that Hawaii running back has a visit scheduled with the Tennessee Titans according to his agent. Green put up some ridiculous numbers at Hawaii last season carrying the ball 146 times for 1,199 yards and 18(!) touchdowns. That is 8.2 yards per carry in case you aren't a math wizard or have a calculator handy.
Green at 6-2 230 could be a good compliment to Chris Johnson if the new coaching staff decides it is important not to run CJ into the ground (seems like we had a guy at one point last year that could have filled that role (I kid, I kid)). He would be a late round pick as DraftCountdown.com has him ranked as the 27th best running back in this class. The only scouting report I could find on him was this one from NFLDraft101.com. He seems like a prime late round candidate for Mike Reinfeldt to target because he was a very productive college player.
As the NFP article mentions, Green held his Pro Day workout today in front of a handful of NFL personnel. No one from the Titans was in attendance. He did not run a 40 today, standing on his 4.45 that he ran at the combine.
