There is going to be a ton of info coming out of the NFL Combine for the next few days, so every morning I am going to try and round-up a few links that I think are worth clicking on. If you come across a story that you find interesting, please email it to me (my email is on the masthead at the bottom of the screen) and I will include it in the round-up.
- Doug Farrar of Yahoo lists 10 combine sleepers. His list includes Tyrod Taylor. I am very interested to see how he performs in Indy. He was a blast to watch play at Virginia Tech, but I am not sure how well his skills translate to the NFL.
- Wes Bunting of NFP has a list of players who could fall with a bad performance at the combine even though they performed very well in college. His list includes Mark Ingram, who could see his stock fall a little bit if his 40 ends up being in the 4.6 range. I am obviously biased, but I don't care what Ingram runs in the 40. The kid can play football, and he has the skill set to be a really good NFL running back.
- Dan Kadar from Mocking the Draft has 5 players who need a good combine. Ryan Mallett is on his list because of the character concerns that have been rumored. I am sure he has spent a lot of time with PR people coaching him on how to answer the questions.
- Paul Kuharsky cautions you on reading too much into what teams a players says he has talked with at the combine.
