Mike Munchak spoke at the 104.5 The Zone SportsFest yesterday and said the Titans aren't rebuilding according to Jim Wyatt:

"Our team, it is not rebuilding,'' Munchak said. "We were 5-3 last year at the halfway point. We are not happy how it ended up, but we were as good as anybody the first part of the season."

Munchak went on to say that he wasn't going to make any predictions on how good the 2011 version of the Titans would be, but he did make this promise:

"I am not going to predict what we may or may not do, but I guarantee we are going to be fun to watch and we are going to bring excitement back on Sunday afternoon and our goal is obviously to win, and win now.''

I have gone back and forth on how I feel about the upcoming season, but ultimately I am excited to see what this new coaching staff is going to bring to the table. I don't think any of us are thrilled about the Chris Palmer hire, but outside of that Munch has done a really good job putting his staff together. He says they are going to be fun to watch, and that is something we have been begging for as Titans fans for a while now.
