Colts Win Again; Still In Line for the #1 Pick

Suddenly the Colts are one of the hottest teams in the NFL, OK not really, but they have won two games in the last five days. I have not been able to enjoy the Colts' misery this season because it looked like they were going to be rewarded with Andrew Luck and then another decade of success. That looks a little bit less likely now that they have won a couple of games.

Tthe Colts, Rams and Vikings all have 2 wins. It is too early to know for sure who would win a three-way tiebreaker for the #1 pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, but the first tie-breaker is strength of schedule- the team with the weakest schedule gets the first pick. Right now, according to Ben Volin of the Palm Beach Post, Indianapolis has the weakest schedule of the three and would still have the #1 overall pick.

Obviously those numbers will change over the next two weeks, but it looks right now like we still need the Colts to win their week 17 game against the Jaguars to keep them from getting the #1 overall pick.
