Matt Hasselbeck was a limited participant in practice today according to the Titans' beat writers. Hasselbeck said after practice that he did more than he expected today and hopes to be able to play. He also made the point that it is only his scrambling that would be limited, and that is not something he does much of anyway.
It sure sounds like Hasselbeck is trying to sell himself as the starter because he said that it is better if you do not scramble against the Colts because Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis chase down guys who run and force turnovers according to John Glennon.
Mike Munchak said after practice that he is expecting Hasselbeck to play and hoping that he can take a little bit more than half of the reps tomorrow.
In other practice notes, Jake Locker was a full participant in practice today. Nate Washington, William Hayes and Gerald McRath did not practice. Coach Munchak said that Washington should practice tomorrow.
