And just like that, the Titans are right back in it. Matt Schaub is sixth in the NFL in passing yards. This is a humongous blow to a Texans team that has been rolling. I'll even go as far to say that the Titans are now the favorite to win the division.
You almost have to feel bad for the Texans. Every year they are supposed to be the breakout team of the year, before derailing as the season goes on. This year, they have looked the best they ever have. It will be interesting to see how much damage they can do. They have managed to win games without their star pass rusher, Mario Williams, and their star receiver, Andre Johnson. I don't think they can keep going without their quarterback. Matt Leinart is no Matt Schaub.
The Titans have to take advantage of this gift. We better see the effort they gave against the Panthers more often than not for the rest of the season.
