Titans vs. Steelers: A Good Opportunity for Chris Johnson

Chris Johnson has faced the Steelers three times in his career. He has never gone over the 100-yard mark against them. His best outing against them was his rookie season when he gained 69 yards on 16 carries. That number was greatly helped by the 4th and 1 play he took 21 yards for a touchdown. That score was the only one he has managed in the three games.

All of that really isn't that surprising though because the Pittsburgh defense is historically tough against the run. However, things are a little bit different this year. The Steelers have already allowed two 100-yard rushers this season. Ray Rice gained 107 in week 1, and Arian Foster gained 155 last week.

In fact, the Steelers are 22nd in the league in yards per game allowed (119.5) and 24th in the league in yards per attempt allowed (4.8). If Chris Johnson were ever going to have a big game against the Steelers, this is his chance.
