Brian Baldinger says CJ's lack of production is the entire RBs fault, and that he's slowing down. While I agree with some of Baldinger's comments, saying that CJ is significantly slower than he was is a bit off-base. CJ's biggest problems to my eye are his lack of decisiveness and ability to anticipate the whole and his angles like he used to... which is infinitely easier to get back than explosiveness.

Lavelle Hawkins has already doubled his previous career high in receptions, but fan opinion of him has never been lower. Luckily, Hawkins isn't satisfied with the drops and pre-snap mistakes that have plagued his performance so far, and he's working to feel more comfortable with his ability to master this offense. I hope he can get there, because we could sure as hell use it.
Tommy Campbell mixed it up with Marc Mariani and Nate Washington yesterday in practice, which is the kind of intensity the Titans need to be practicing with during the one day per week they can practice with pads on under the new CBA.
Munchak swears that the Titans aren't taking the Colts for granted. He better have these guys expecting Indy's best game of the season as they come to town still licking their wounds from the beatdown the Saints put on them.
While there has been lots of speculation about line-up changes on offense, the defense has struggled just as much over the past few weeks. Jerry Gray says he isn't considering making any line-up changes, but I bet you 100 MCM bucks that if Colin McCarthy were healthy he'd be eating into Barrett Ruud's playing time significantly.
An Indy paper profiled Matt Hasselbeck.
Former Titan Stafon Johnson got a workout with the Raiders.
Yes, among others.
