Week 7 In the AFC South

It was an interesting week for the AFC South. The marquee game, in case you haven't heard, turned out to be a stinker. The Texans put themselves firmly in the driver's seat when they came to Nashville and handed the Titans their hats. There is still a lot of football to be played, but at this point it is hard to envision anyone besides the Texans winning this division.

The Jaguars pulled off the biggest surprise of the weekend when they beat the Ravens on Monday Night Football. I would have lost a lot of money on that one if I were a betting man. The scary thing for us as Titans fans out of that one is you have to wonder how good the Ravens actually are. That win against the Ravens is the one we have been pointing to saying our team isn't that bad.  If Baltimore stinks what does that mean for us?

Jacksonville is going to be an interesting team to watch the rest of the way.  The reviews on Blaine Gabbert have been mixed so far, but they are playing really well on defense.  Don't be surprised to see them knock off Houston this week.

I don't think I need to go into a whole lot of detail about the Colts 62-7 loss to the Saints.  It seems pretty obvious, but the Titans better take care of business this week or things are going to get ugly here like they are in Indy right now.
