Mike Munchak was asked today after practice about the importance of the Texans not having Andre Johnson available on Sunday:

Well it’s huge for them, there is no doubt he is the best guy we face every year, our secondary. The plays he has made on us alone, he has had some great numbers on us so in any game for them it’s different because like we have had to, guys are looking to step up for him. We won’t miss him if he is not playing, we know we will see him at the end of the year possibly, we will wait and see how things are on Sunday.

There has been a lot made of AJ not playing this week, but when you step back and think about it all it does is level the playing field.

The Texans are playing without their #1 receiver just like the Titans have been and will be for the rest of the season.

I really hope that the team is more focused on who is going to be there instead of who isn't. I can help but think that there was a little bit of a letdown in preparation before the Steelers game because of all the guys that were banged up for Pittsburgh. Hopefully the Titans learned their lesson.
