Last week I was 8-8 in my picks against the spread. That brings me to 16-15-1 (I didn't pick week 1) on the season. So if you are betting based on my picks, you should at least still have a roof over your head.
This week's picks after the jump.
Carolina @ Chicago -7The Bears defense is going to really mess with Cam Newton.
Buffalo -3 @ Cincinnati
The Bills are riding high, and that has to end sometime, but it won't be today.
Tennessee -1 @ Cleveland
You already know. Welcome to 2011 Chris Johnson.
Detroit +1 @ Dallas
The Lions continue their quest to prove it is a new era in Detroit.
Pittsburgh +4 @ Houston
Hello, first place in the AFC South.
New Orleans -7 1/2 @ Jacksonville
Gregg Williams is already sending people at Blaine Gabbert.
Minnesota @ Kansas City +3
Both of these teams are bad, and Arrowhead gives the Chiefs a huge advantage.
San Francisco @ Philadelphia -9 1/2
A cross country trip + an angry Michael Vick = disaster for the 9ers
Washington @ St. Louis +3
UPSET SPECIAL!!! The Rams will win this game.
New York Giants -1 1/2 @ Arizona
Clay Travis does a bet your mortgage pick each week. This would be mine. The Cardinals are terrible.
Atlanta -5 1/2 @ Seattle
A trip to the Northwest is just what the Falcons need to get on track.
Denver @ Green Bay -13
Aaron Rodgers might go for 400 in this one.
New England -6 @ Oakland
The Patriots are pissed off after last week's loss. They might hang 60 on the Raiders.
Miami @ San Diego -7 1/2
The Chargers are just better.
New York Jets @ Baltimore -4
I really hate both of these teams.
Indianapolis @ Tampa Bay -10 1/2
If you thought Kerry Collins was bad, just wait until you see Curtis Painter.
