NFL Week 6 Picks Against the Spread

Last week I was 6-7 with my picks. That brings me to 31-29-1 on the season against the spread. This week's picks after the jump.

Carolina @ Atlanta -4

The Falcons have to start playing well eventually, right?

Indianapolis @ Cincinnati -7

We need the Colts to start winning some games so they don't have a shot at Andrew Luck.  It doesn't happen this week.

San Francisco @ Detroit -4 1/2

My Lions move to 6-0 in this one.

St. Louis @ Green Bay -15

I was trying to decide what number was so high that I wouldn't take the Packers here- probably somewhere north of 30.

Buffalo @ NY Giants -3

The Bills can score, but their defense isn't very good.  Look for Eli Manning to expose them today.

Jacksonville @ Pittsburgh -13

Good luck Mr. Gabbert

Philadelphia +3 @ Washington

The Eagles find a way to get it done late in this one.

Houston @ Baltimore -7

Come on Ravens.  I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.

Cleveland +7 @ Oakland

Peyton Hillis is going to have a big game in this one.

Dallas +7 @ New England

Tough to bet against Tom Brady, but their pass defense is horrific.  Tony Romo gets Miles Austin back in this one.  Look for those two to have big days.

New Orleans -6 @ Tampa Bay

The Saints are the better team.  What else do you need to know?

Minnesota +3 @ Chicago

This is a bad week for prime time games.  Adrian Peterson is going to have a huge night in this one because the Bears defense is giving up something like 12 yards per carry*.

Miami @ NY Jets -7

Told you it was a bad week.  The Dolphins are terrible.

*Not the actual number, but it is high.
