This is actually a pretty easy exercise this week. There really is not a unit on the team that deserves a passing grade.

The rushing offense got off to a fast start with Chris Johnson gaining 21 yards on his first carry. He gained 30 total on his next 13.

Grade: F

The passing offense looked out of sync all day long. I do plan on going back in the next couple of days and actually counting the number of times that Matt Hasselbeck threw a pass and the receiver never saw the ball. My guess is it is at least 7.

Things could have been different if Hasselbeck doesn't overthrow Mike Otto on the first drive, if Nate Washington comes down with the catch in the back of the end zone, or if Washington doesn't stop running on the one late that would have been a touchdown. Coulda...Shoulda...Woulda...

Grade: F

The rushing defense gave up 107 yards to the Steelers 4th string running back.

Grade: F

The passing defense managed 1 sack and allowed Big Gimpy Ben to throw 5 touchdown passes.

Grade: F

The special teams units gave up a huge gain on a fake punt in an obvious fake punt situation and a 50-yard kick return.

Grade: F

It really was that bad, but have no fear- the Titans are still tied for the lead in the division with two games remaining against the team they are tied with.
