Titans OL coach Mike Munchak was in demand this off-season; he turned down three chances to leave Tennessee, including one from Carolina.
This really shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. The Titans offensive line was bad last year, but Munchak has been one of the best position coaches in the league for a long time. I am sure people inquire about him all the time, and teams probably thought they had a real chance this season with the uncertainty around Jeff Fisher.
Munchak is a really good football coach and might be a good head coach, but I just think it is best to completely break away from the Jeff Fisher era. I am sure Munchak would bring some of his own ideas, but there is no way he wouldn't do a lot of the same things Fisher did after working for him for 15 year.
