The top seeds in each conference got Fisher'd.
Kenny Britt is closing out the 2011 season with a proclamation that should make every Titans fan happy: he's committed to busting his hump this off-season so he can open next year as the best WR in the league. We've been saying damned near all year that he could get there, but it's going to take a lot more focus and dedication than he showed last off-season. It's easy to forget that Britt was in free fall through camp, the preseason and the first few games. Britt seems like he remembers those mistakes and has no interest in making them again.
I'm starting to think that Marc Mariani might get elected governor of Montana while he's still playing. Seriously, every day I check for Titans news there's another story about him filling the rafters at another charity autograph section. Click on the video in that story: when they show the crowd at the mall to see him, that's more than the city of Nashville can muster to watch the open training camp sessions... and that's the full team out there.
I said it should happen back in 2004 while I was sitting in the stands at Dudley field, it was a reasonable possibility back in 2006 and now it's such a blinding fact that even David Climer sees it: Jay Cutler was the right pick in that year's draft. Is he the best QB in the league? Not by a long shot. But, is he a guy who could win a Super Bowl with a Jeff Fisher team? There's not a doubt in my mind.
Interested in a Vince Young Twitter fight? Me neither. Mike Florio's lackeys continue remind us that no matter how much money NBC pays, PFT is still pretty retarded.
Titans Touchdown takes a look at 5 non-quarterbacks in the draft who should interest the Titans.
