Tony Brown had the knee that hampered him all season scoped by Dr. Andrews in Birmingham, AL. The famed Dr. Andrews also did the original procedure last year, which Brown never could come back from completely, despite being held out of almost all of the preseason and increased rest during the season. Jim Wahsburn should move in with Brown and make sure he's rehabbing like he should because the defensive line lost a lot of punch when Brown was hobbled or out.
David Boclair recaps the year that was for the Tennessee Titans and zeroes in on QB problems, time of possession deficit and stupid penalties as the bulk of the problem. Gregg Williams is interviewing for the head job with the Denver Broncos, further reducing my hopes that Williams would be brought in here as the new DC and get us back up the mountain.

Wade Phillips believes he can make the Texans' defense better next year, which is border-line preposterous. No matter how many guys you swap in and out to try and get that 3-4 going, you're still working with a terrible secondary and a new system for everyone. Phillips is a hell of a coordinator, but this is the Houston Texans, people.
You'd know this if you followed Alterraun Verner on Twitter like you should, but the Titans stand-out CB is back at UCLA, living in an on-campus dorm working on his Mathematics-Applied Science degree.
Meanwhile Verner's buddy and teammate Marc Mariani is getting the hero treatment back in Havre, Montana, where he is raising money for local children's charities. Last Sunday he was supposed to sign autographs from noon to 5 p.m., but due to the huge turnout Mariani stayed to sign autographs for the kids past midnight.
Vito Stellino looks at the abnormally large number of lame duck coaches in the NFL. It's a situation that used to terrify owners, but has become a fact of higher salaries for coaches like Jeff Fisher, John Fox, Lovie Smith and others.
Chris Simms should hear his fate from a NYC judge this afternoon. Simms has had pot charges over his head since last July. Of course, if Simms is stoned with the Titans can anyone actually tell?
Great game by Cam Newton, but it wasn't even in the stratosphere of what soon to be former-Titan Vince Young did on the same stage. However, Cam did play in the SEC, so you know he actually faced decent competition consistently throughout the year.
