So I've had a chance to clear my head and sleep a little since last night's tirade against Jeff Fisher on MCM Radio. I've also had a chance to read, more sober recaps, the opinions of many highly-paid talking heads and the local perspective from the morning crew (including Frank Wychek) on 104.5 The Zone, and I've realized something there are a lot of people who get paid money to either be idiots or cowards. The fact that NO ONE in the local media will show some outrage over this is the biggest argument for sports blogs you'll ever see. Fisher made a bush-league move by yanking Vince, got burned when Kerry managed to some how make MORE mistakes than Vince in a handful of plays, denied Vince the chance to make some magic happen at the end like he did against the Giants a few years back (he was terrible for 3 quarters in that game and came back to win) then flippantly treated it like no big deal to the fawning media after the game. It's an indefensible move by a coach who is becoming as equally indefensible. I understand that not everyone will agree with that, but you're wrong and your arguments are built to fit the point you feel in your gut, not the facts as they exist.
CJ2K, along with his sponsor Powerade, has started a charity push called "Running Back for Schools" in which $10 will be donated to metro schools' sports programs for every yard CJ rushes for this year. See, the Steelers hate the children of Nashville.
Let the non-local media idiocy or revisionist history and misrepresentations of Vince Young begin:
• Stupid article #1: Young's attitude was never a problem last year. Perhaps several years ago it was, but VY did everything right while he was on the bench, even if it was killing him.
• Stupid article #2: This didn't happen because Vince is black and Kerry is white.
• Stupid article #3: Vince was neither fragile nor sulking yesterday any more than any other QB with some pride would be. When he was benched he was waiting with the team with his helmet on ready to get back in there.
• Stupid article #4: This article is so stupid it should be prosecutable with a minimum punishment of forced chemical castration so as to not let the writer pollute the gene pool. That is all.

CJ2K's streak of 100 yard games came to an end yesterday before he could match Barry Sanders. Of course, CJ still has time to put together another run a 14 straight this year...
Jacob Ford will have an MRI on his knee today.
There was only one player on the offense who has been stellar through both weeks of this young season: Nate Washington. Nate is playing the way we expected him to perform last year, and he'll be a key part of any revival these guys can put on moving forward.
Keith Bulluck is the main attraction for Titans fans when it comes to next week's game. Bulluck will be honored at the Four Seasons Hotel tomorrow for his work in promoting the cause of foster care and children in general through his charity organization.
