Tennessee Titans Monday Training Camp Recap

New, comments

Cortland Finnegan missed practice for the third straight day.  It is still being called a muscle strain.  I guess there is no reason to be concerned considering we are still a month out from a game that matters, but it would be nice if Fisher would give us some more info.  I know, good luck with that.

Jacob Ford missed practice again today.  He has a muscle pull.

John Glennon has my favorite line of the day:

Rookie cornerback Alterraun Verner put a big pop on tight end Sean Ryan and knocked the ball loose after a completion. He seems to make a big play every day.

That's what happens when you associate yourself with the fine people here at MCM.

From the same report it seems that Lavelle Hawkins and Sen'Derrick Marks continue to impress. That is good news because those are two of the guys that are on the long list of players the Titans need to step up this year.

Tye Hill returned to practice today. I don't expect him to make a push for the starting position, but he could add some quality depth to the position.

There is still no sign of the Titans first two picks on the practice field, but it seems that Damian Williams is getting close.
