The Titans were in full pads in this afternoon's practice and it sounds like they really got after it. Here are some of the high points:
Chris Johnson showed off a new pair of shoes according to Jim Wyatt. The red and white shoes have CJ2K on the back of one shoe and Knows on the back of the other.
Kenny Britt was back on the field while our friend Jacob Ford sat according to John Glennon. That article also says that Damian Williams is getting closer and hopes to be on the field early next week. Williams can't get on the field quick enough considering the Titans think he is the answer in the return game, and we all saw last year what happens when you put a returner out there without the proper reps.
Cortland Finnegan was back on the field today but only in a limited role according to Glennon. It is just reported to be some muscle tightness and doesn't appear to be a long term problem. I don't think I need to tell you what kind of problems this defense would have if Finny isn't healthy.
Glennon also has some notes from the rookie session at the end of practice including some praise for friend of the site Alterraun Verner.
Coach Fisher's practice report.
It sounds like Vince Young had a good day from reading through the nifty Twitter widget smash made for us.
The Titans will have meetings tomorrow but will not be on the practice field.
