Kenny Britt started the OTAs poorly, as he was held out of practice as punishment for coming in out of shape. Since then he's earned the nickname 'Question Mark' for his unexplainable drops, lingering minor injuries and mental lapses. Well that's just awesome. Britt's trying to turn his performance around, but apparently didn't show much improvement as OTA's wrapped up last week. Britt would be wise to spend the next month working with a Jugs machine unless he wants to make a home with the second and third WR units.
PFT cobbles together reports and conversations to determine what we've always known would happen: Vince Young will almost certainly not be suspended by Roger Goodell. VY and Goodell will be meeting in a few weeks, but prior precedents, as well as basic logic, dictate that the worst VY should get is a fine the equivalent of one game check. Personally, even that seems steep for a crime whose maximum legal punishment is $500 with no probation, jail time or community service.
David Boclair profiles Chris Johnson's love of tweeting, facebook, U-Stream and all things technological to get his thoughts out and connects with friends and fans. It's generally a pretty good write-up, save for 'I'm old and social technology seems evil' parts. Boclair details CJ2K's travels, opposition to alcohol and smoking, and his dedication to put football before groupies. Check it out, for sure.

Paul K reminds us that, despite the bad mojo from the Dallas incident, there are a ton of indications that VY has had a good offseason. Given how critical Paul K has been of the QB in the past, I'd say that's a pretty good sign that the Titans coaches and players are pleased as well.
The Titans cut loose on the last day of OTAs and held an offense vs. defense relay race involving a Slip n' Slide. For those of you who don't know what a Slip n' Slide is, it's time to trade your Noam Chomsky and pinot for some brisket and sweet tea, son!
In what's become the most common refrain for each Titans offseason, Jim Washburn has a new reclamation project. This year the spotlight is on former first round pick Jason Babin (interesting note: we traded back with the Texans so that they could jump up and get Babin in the draft), who is ready to jump start his languishing career under the tutelage of the master. Babin is correct when he says his career got off to a rocky start because the Texans wanted him to be a 3-4 pass rushing LB, but now that he's back with his hand on the ground full time, he's ready to prove wrong those who have written him off.
Look for CJ2K to be featured on Shaquille O'Neal's Shaq VS.. reality show. Johnson will compete in a relay that features Shaq, Dwight Howard, Desean Jackson, Maurice Green and Tyson Gay.
Have love, send some Titans links to mcmaugustwest@gmail.com!
