UPDATED: Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger Suspended 6 Games

New, comments

UPDATE: Several outlets are reporting that Commissioner Goodell has officially suspended the Steeler's Ben Roethlisberger for the first 6 games of 2010. Here is SI's Don Banks' take.

Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen are both reporting that the suspension for Roethlisberger will be 4-6 games.  I am guessing that means a conditional 6 games that can be reduced if a set of conditions are met.  Regardless, he will not be Pittsburgh's QB when they visit Nashville in week 2.

I think this suspension is weak considering all of the stuff that has come out about Roethlisberger and some of the suspensions that Goodell has handed out in the past.
