Follow the 2010 NFL Draft with MCM

New, comments

As announced previously in this space, Comcast has generously agreed to support the best NFL community around -- us! As part of that effort, between now and the end of the 2010 NFL season Comcast will be sponsoring a variety of special editorial and interactive features on our site. They begin today with the launch of the Comcast HD War Room, your weekly destination for key draft insight and opinion. Welcome!

It seems like forever ago that I put up the draft countdown after the Boston Massacre, and now we are less than 36 hours away from one of the most exciting events of the year.  I cannot wait until the Titans make their pick at #16, and the buzz starts about the new player and how he will fit into the scheme and whether it was a good pick or not.

I remember last year when ESPN showed Beanie Wells on the phone before the Titans pick was in.  I had a whole angry post ready to go in about 5 seconds about the Titans taking another running back, but thankfully that wasn't how it turned out.  One of the more exciting things about being a Titans fan is that you never really have any idea what they are going to do.  It keeps you on your toes during the draft, and usually makes for some good research projects for the contributors here because we have never heard of half the guys they end up picking.

Be sure and spend all 7 rounds with us here at MCM.  We will have open threads going for the better part of the 3 day marathon this draft is going to be, and we will have posts galore about each player the Titans select.  Here's to hoping the Titans can trade down in the first, pick up a second round pick and get two players that can make an impact from day one.

Comcast is a proud supporter of Music City Miracles. You’ll get your Titan games as a part of over 120 NFL games Comcast provides in HD, as well as On Demand game recaps from every NFL game every week, faster Internet speeds, and stunning HD. With Comcast and NFL RedZone, you get every touchdown from every game every Sunday afternoon! Call 1-800-COMCAST or visit http://www.comcast.com.
