According to Ocho Cinco News Network and Adam Schefter (I saw it at OCNN first), the Titans have agreed with quarterback Chris Simms to a one year deal. As you probably remember, Simms became the Titans backup quarterback once Vince Young went down with injury in the first game of our 13-3 2008 season.

He then left the Titans to sign a two year deal with the Denver Broncos last offseason, and he completed 5 of 17 passes for 23 yards in two games, which included one start. I wouldn't be surprised if Simms challenges Kerry Collins for the backup role this season and starts the season as #2.
