It certainly doesn't sound like the Titans are going to do much to accommodate CJ2K's request for a new contract, as they plan on sticking by their precedent of not addressing contracts until the final year. CJ's salary next year is definitely not commiserate with his production, but in my opinion, CJ's beef should probably be focused on the agent who got him such an undervalued contract lacking in performance bonuses. If the Titans move to renegotiate CJ2K's contract, they'd be opening a Pandora's box down the road. Lets just all hope CJ doesn't hold out...
Carrying the load he did last year means CJ's going to have to disciple his body... just like Yoshimi as she battles the pink robots! Man I love me some Flaming Lips.
The slow creep towards a labor lock-out is gaining steam, especially since this late in the game the owners are still sticking by their demand for an 18% pay cut from the players. That would drop the salary cap from 59% of all revenues to 41%. I don't think anyone can be too upset with the players for scoffing at that huge of a pay cut.

The Titans are 'working with' Kenny Britt after his minor dust-ups last month. It's just part of learning the ropes for Kenny, and I'm sure the it probably involves some mentoring from a veteran or former player.
Jeff Fisher joined the officiating crew for the Super Bowl in an annual dinner the NFL holds leading up to the big game. The occasion also provided a chance for the participants to honor Mike Pereira, who is retiring as the head of officials.
Paul K took a spin in the hyperbaric chamber Dwight Freeney is using to rehab his ankle. Doesn't sound too exciting, but it's interesting to see what lengths guys are going to in an effort to rehab quicker.
Colts tight-end Tom Santi won't be able to play in the Super Bowl thanks to an injury, but Jim Wyatt took the time to catch-up with the Nashville native, MBA graduate and childhood Titans fan. Oddly enough, Santi was even in the stadium for the Music City Miracle.
Wyatt also caught-up with former UT Vol receiver Robert Meacham, who was a first round pick by the Saints a few years ago.
Have a great weekend everybody! Geaux Saints!
