Gotta agree with Jim Wyatt here: there's no down-side to the contract offer that was given to free agent wide receiver Matt Jones. Jones had some dumb moves in the past that landed him in hot water and the league's drug oversight program, but he's a physical marvel who really started to come on his last year in Jacksonville. If you think a little blow is enough to ruin an NFL career, then you're crazy.

The Titans have honored Tasha French with their 2009 Tennessee Titans Community Quarterback Award. French helped start a local publication that is written and distributed by current and former homeless people in the Nashville area. After proving they're sober, homeless can buy the papers for a quarter and sell them for a dollar, plus tips. The distributors are credentialed so that anyone who walks up on them knows they're legit. It's a very good service around town that will get a big boost with the $10,000 that comes with the award.
